This API is available on Firefox OS for internal applications only.

Summary

The setPowerSavingMode method is used to have the WiFi adapter enter or exit the power saving mode.

Syntax

var request = navigator.mozWifiManager.setPowerSavingMode(enabled);

Parameters

enabled
A boolean indicating if the device must enter (true) or exit (false) the power saving mode.

Returns

It returns a DOMRequest to handle the success or error of the operation.
