nsIMsgWindowCommands

This interface defines methods used by the back end to update the user interface in a mail or news message list.
Inherits from: nsISupports Last changed in Gecko 1.9 (Firefox 3)

Methods

selectFolder()

This method is called by the backend to change the folder displayed in the message window. This could be as a result of clicking on a new mail alert, or by clicking a link to a newsgroup.

void selectFolder(
  in ACString folderUri
);
Parameters
folderUri
The URI of the folder to select.

selectMessage()

This method is called by the backend to change the displayed message. For instance, when deleting attachments, this causes the message to be redisplayed.

  in ACString messageUri
);
Parameters
messageUri
The URI of the message to open.

clearMsgPane()

This method is called by the backend when it wants to clear the message pane, for instance if you select the group header .
