This API is available on Firefox OS for privileged or certified applications only.

The reason property indicates what kind of change was made to the contact.

Syntax

var reason = instanceOfMozContactChangeEvent.reason

Value

Return a string. Possible value is one of update, create, or remove.

Specifications

The Contacts Manager API defines the properties added, modified and removed instead of the reason property.
