This API is available on Firefox OS for privileged or certified applications only.

Summary

The maxFocusAreas property is a number that defines the maximum number of focus areas supported by the camera.

Syntax

var max = instanceOfCameraControl.capabilities.maxFocusAreas

Value

Return a number.

Example

var options = {
  camera: navigator.mozCameras.getListOfCameras()[0]
};
function onSuccess(camera) {
  console.log(camera.capabilities.maxFocusAreas);
};
navigator.mozCameras.getCamera(options, onSuccess)

Specification

Not part of any specification; however, this API should be removed when the WebRTC Capture and Stream API has been implemented.
