This API is available on Firefox OS for internal applications only.

Summary

The startDiscovery method is used to have the device's adapter start seeking for remote devices.

Syntax

var request = instanceOfBluetoothAdapter.startDiscovery();

Returns

A DOMRequest object to handle the success or error of the operation. In case of success, the BluetoothAdapter.discovering property is set to true.

Specification

Not part of any specification yet. It should be discussed as part of the W3C's System Applications Working Group.
